Great to meet you!

Many people seek treatment for ADHD, anxiety, depression, insomnia, or mood concerns and discover there is more contributing to their struggles than they initially realized. Stress, trauma, relationship challenges, grief, life transitions, and self-esteem issues can all affect mental health and overall well-being.

I believe meaningful treatment begins with understanding the whole person rather than focusing solely on symptoms or diagnoses. By taking time to explore each client's experiences, strengths, challenges, and goals, we can work toward a deeper understanding of what may be contributing to distress and identify practical steps toward improvement.

My practice focuses on ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, trauma-related concerns, sleep disorders, and substance use disorders. I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy tailored to each individual's unique needs.

My approach to therapy

Mental health concerns are often influenced by a combination of biological, psychological, social, and life factors. Effective treatment involves looking beyond symptoms to understand the full picture and identify the factors that may be contributing to distress.

Treatment may include medication management, psychotherapy, education, lifestyle modifications, or a combination of approaches depending on individual needs and goals. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), mindfulness-based interventions, and trauma-informed care are incorporated when appropriate.

Care is collaborative and individualized, with treatment decisions guided by each client's experiences, preferences, strengths, and goals.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, I will take time to learn about your concerns, symptoms, personal history, and treatment goals. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and share what you hope to gain from treatment.

We will discuss your experiences, explore factors that may be affecting your mental health, and work toward understanding the full picture rather than focusing solely on symptoms or diagnoses. Together, we will develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs and goals.

Whether treatment involves medication management, therapy, lifestyle changes, or a combination of approaches, we will work collaboratively to identify practical strategies that support meaningful and lasting improvement.
