Maryann Boucher

Congratulations on taking good care of yourself by getting started with psychotherapy. I am a clinical psychologist licensed in Virginia and Colorado and I see clients virtually. Whether you are struggling with a life transition, relationship problem, sense of unworthiness, persistent worrying, or something else, I am committed to helping people access and develop their abilities to skillfully, creatively and confidently lead themselves and their lives.

I have a warm, curious, empathic and nonjudgemental approach with clients. I tend to be a great fit with people who may be struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, perfectionism, depression, grief, and shame. I am trauma-informed. I am currently seeking further training in Internal Family Systems therapy and treatment of ADHD in adults.

As a collaborator who is rooting for you, we will seek to understand where you are, a little about how you got there as relevant, and the barriers to your sense of wellbeing. Together, we will make a plan on the individualized therapy approach and goals. It is an honor to help people on their path to more satisfying relationships with themselves and others, confidence and creativity in navigating the inevitable challenges in life, and a sense of inner peace and wellness.
