Hello and welcome to Headway. My name is Maryann and I am a licensed clinical social worker practicing in Michigan. I have gained knowledge and experience by working with children, adolescents, and adults, for a variety of reasons; depression, anxiety, stress, family problems, trauma, abuse, PTSD, and relationship difficulties.

I use an eclectic approach to counselling which allows me to pull from different methods of treatment to ensure that each client’s experience is individualized to their specific needs. My style is relaxed, nonconfrontational, and strengths based. Everyone goes through challenging experiences from time to time. I have found in my work with clients that having someone to lend an outside perspective can be very valuable. It would be my privilege to work along side you on your journey to wellness.
