Great to meet you!

I have been a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist for over 30 years. I hold both a Master of Arts in Creative Arts Therapy degree, and a Masters in Clinical Social Work degree. Trained in Intersubjective Self Psychology and favoring an eclectic, person-centered style, I will help you look at the bigger picture — including your hopes and dreams — and prepare you to write the next chapter of your life.

My approach to therapy

I am especially interested in helping young adults, adults, and older adults with life transitions, anxiety, depression, substance use issues, and trauma recovery. My patients know me to be warm, friendly, empathic, nurturing, direct when needed, and easy to talk to, with a good sense of humor!

What you can expect from me

I am a therapist with many years experience helping countless individuals turn a new page or begin a new chapter in their lives. I believe in the power of getting to know exactly who you are, and what you need in this one unique lifetime we have. Within a psychodynamic framework, I include techniques and interventions that are evidence based and effective, such as Behavioral Activation (depression), Seeking Safety (trauma recovery), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (mindfulness, value clarification, and action planning).
