I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of New York and received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Hofstra University and a Masters in Social Welfare from Stony Brook University. I specialize in ADHD, Grief, and depression. My approach I enjoy reading, cooking, craftmaking (with friends), and relaxing with my 160 lb Newfoundland and two cats
My approach is a thoughtful integration of various therapeutic frameworks of therapy. I practice out of the relational model which is type of therapy that focuses on the importance of relationships and how they affect a person's well-being. I believe in the interconnectedness of the mind-body and spirit. With empathy, kindness and humor I walk with my clients on their journey to achieve a balance in all stages of the Life Cycle. My faith is at the core of my interactions both clinically and in who I am and strive to be as a human being.
I focus on creating a climate of deep understanding and compassion with my clients. I have a sense of awe in the uniqueness of each person and I believe that we all make sense, and we can come to a better place in the present through emotional insight into our past.
