Great to meet you!

I am a dual board-certified Psychiatric & Geriatric Nurse Practitioner with experience working across the adult lifespan, including individuals with complex mood disorders, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, & medical-psychiatric overlap. Much of my career has focused on caring for older adults & individuals with co-occurring medical & mental health conditions, which has shaped my thoughtful, whole-person approach to treatment. I value thorough assessments & practical strategies that promote meaningful and sustainable progress. I work best with adults who are seeking clarity, stability, & a structured path forward. I provide care in both English & Spanish.

My approach to therapy

My approach is balanced, structured, and individualized. I provide thoughtful & proactive medication management and carefully adjust treatment plans as needed to support stability & progress. At the same time, I believe medication works best as part of a comprehensive plan that may include brief, practical, skills-based strategies to improve thinking patterns, emotional regulation, & everyday coping. I consider medical history, lifestyle factors, stressors, & personal strengths when developing treatment recommendations. My goal is not only symptom reduction, but improved functioning, emotional stability, and long-term resilience.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will take time to review your history, current concerns, prior treatments, and goals for care. I will ask thoughtful questions to better understand patterns, contributing factors, and any medical issues that may be influencing symptoms. By the end of the visit, you can expect a clear understanding of potential diagnoses, a discussion of evidence-based treatment options, and a structured plan for next steps. My intention is for you to leave feeling heard, informed, & supported with a concrete direction forward. If helpful, I offer a brief 15-minute consultation upon request to determine whether my practice may be a good fit before scheduling a full evaluation.
