Great to meet you!

Licensed clinical psychologist and Marriage and Family Therapist with 35 years of experience. My practice centers on fostering growth, helping individuals, couples, and families discover their innate capacity for healing and transformation. I believe deeply that each person possesses the inner resources needed to navigate and face life's challenges and create meaningful change. I view therapy as service to the greater good, approaching this work as both a privilege and a calling. My role as a therapist encompasses being a guide who helps clients find their path, an educator who provides tools and insights, and a stimulus who encourages moving forward, healing and transformation. In the three and a half decades of practice, I've witnessed the resilience of human beings and I remain committed to creating a supportive space where growth, and self discovery, can flourish naturally.

My approach to therapy

My experience spans crisis intervention and management, substance abuse treatment, severe mental health conditions, therapeutic work with individuals, children in foster care, and couples and family therapy.

What you can expect from me

My theoretical models are inclusive of, but not limited to, cognitive, developmental, interpersonal and dynamic methods of treatment. A variety of modalities, psychodynamic talk therapy, symbolic appercetion, cognitive therapy, dream work, tailoring a method that works for the client.

One distinction would be discovering self imposed obstacles that once provided safety and temporary answers, but has lived it's usefulness and are now an obstacle to further self realization, happiness and growth.

Answering and exploring the questions:

How did I get here?, Do I want to stay here? How do I get out? and What's next?
