Great to meet you!

Beginning therapy often comes at a moment when life feels heavy, unclear, or quietly overwhelming. I offer a therapeutic space that is grounded, compassionate, and steady - a place where you can slow down, speak honestly, and be met with care and clarity.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience in medical and academic settings, where I have supported adults navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, chronic stress, and major life transitions. I am especially drawn to working with women, caregivers, and helping professionals - people who are deeply capable, responsible, and often carrying more than they let on. Many of my clients are exploring patterns shaped by early life experiences, identity shifts, or long-standing relational dynamics, and are seeking a way to feel more at ease within themselves.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, relational, and rooted in evidence-based practice. I integrate cognitive and mindfulness-based strategies with an understanding of the nervous system and emotional regulation. This allows therapy to be both reflective and practical — honoring lived experience while supporting meaningful, sustainable change. I believe healing happens when insight is paired with safety, and when the body and mind are both included in the work.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a calm, supportive conversation focused on understanding what brings them to therapy and what they hope will feel different in their lives. We’ll take time to discuss current concerns, relevant background, and any immediate stressors, while moving at a pace that feels manageable and respectful. There is no pressure to share everything at once.

I view the first session as a time to begin building safety and clarity. I’ll ask thoughtful questions, offer gentle structure, and help organize what may feel overwhelming or tangled. We’ll also talk about goals, preferences for therapy, and what support might look like moving forward. By the end of the session, most clients leave with a clearer sense of direction, a few initial insights or tools, and a felt sense of whether this space and approach are a good fit.
