Great to meet you!
My path to becoming a therapist began in storytelling. As a native of Atlanta, Georgia, I earned my bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from Hampton University and started my career in journalism. While covering stories, I found myself increasingly drawn to the people behind the headlines—their emotions, struggles, resilience, and lived experiences. That passion ultimately led me to pursue counseling and dedicate my career to helping others heal and grow.
I later earned my Master’s degree in Counseling with a concentration in Mental Health Counseling from Old Dominion University and became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2020. Since then, I’ve worked with adolescents, adults, families, and veterans navigating life transitions and emotional challenges. I specialize in helping individuals manage anxiety, depression, anger, stress, relationship concerns, and adjustment difficulties.
I believe that a healthy mind contributes to a healthy body and soul. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move toward meaningful change.
