Great to meet you!

Growing up in Japan has shaped my approach to counseling, allowing me to blend both Eastern and Western philosophical insights into my practice. I hold a BA in Western Philosophy, with a minor in Gender and Women's Studies, from UC-Denver, and MA in Counseling from Regis University. I specialize in treating trauma (singular, complex, or trans-generational), folks experienced racism, ableism related to neurodivergence, injustice related to queer and marginalized population.

My approach to therapy

I am an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) and a Registered Play Therapist (RPT). I'm also certified with Synergetic Play Therapy as well as AutPlay Therapy. These credentials enable me to use effective modalities as a powerful means of communication and self-expression for both children and adults. I am dedicated to supporting adults in their personal journeys. I'm here to guide you through your emotional challenges and help you on a path of self-discovery and inner resilience.

What you can expect from me

When you choose to work with me, you can expect to leave each session feeling more at ease and with enhanced clarity, all without receiving unsolicited advice. The duration of our therapy journey together is entirely up to you—it can range from a single session to a more extended exploration, depending on how deep you wish to delve into your self-discovery. Always remember, your feelings and experiences are valued—you truly matter.
