Great to meet you!

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if you have been through experiences that changed how safe or connected the world feels. My goal is to provide a grounded, supportive space where you do not have to have everything figured out. Therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of what you have been through, and begin moving toward the life you want. I view therapy as a collaborative process where we work together to better understand your experiences and create meaningful change.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience supporting individuals navigating trauma, crisis, and major life transitions. My professional background includes work in hospitals, crisis response settings, and relationship and sexual violence centers. These experiences have allowed me to support individuals during some of the most difficult moments in their lives and have deeply shaped my commitment to compassionate, trauma informed care.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is integrative. I primarily work from a psychodynamic framework, which means we explore how past experiences and relationships may still influence your present thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. At the same time, I incorporate evidence based practices such as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills to help build practical coping strategies.

My work is also influenced by Internal Family Systems, which helps people understand the different parts of themselves and develop greater self compassion. Together we can work toward increasing insight, strengthening resilience, and building a greater sense of safety, connection, and balance in your life.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to begin getting to know each other and to talk about what brought you to therapy. We will spend time exploring what you are currently experiencing and what you hope to gain from our work together.

We will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I may ask questions about your history, relationships, and important life experiences so I can better understand the context of what you are going through. There is no expectation to share everything at once.

It is my job to create a space that feels safe, respectful, and supportive. You do not owe me anything in this process. Therapy is about creating a place where you can show up as you are, and together we can begin building a foundation for the work ahead.
