Great to meet you!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my page! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor – Mental Health Service Provider in the State of Tennessee and a National Certified Counselor. I made the move to Tennessee in 2013 and received my M.Ed. in Human Development Counseling from Vanderbilt University in 2015. I have since been working with youth, adults, and families. This included time as a School Counselor, a School-Based Therapist, and a Clinical Therapist at a non-profit. My work has especially been to make a difference to those that are homeless, marginalized, and affected by systemic injustices.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I offer individual and family therapy for adolescents to adults, the LGBTQ+ population, men, folks with trauma, depression, and anxiety. I approach with a strengths-based, empowerment mindset, and I use an integrated theoretical framework to fit you. This includes but is not limited to EMDR, person centered, mindfulness, and CBT methods.

What you can expect from our first session

I like to create and facilitate an an environment of safety and trust while working towards identified goals. This could be around improving emotions, communication, or deepening understanding of trauma and identity.
