Great to meet you!

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with five years of clinical experience providing evidence-based care for individuals across the lifespan. I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings, with extensive experience caring for children and adolescents ages 5–17. My areas of clinical experience include depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and other mental health conditions.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Kentucky in 2017 and my Master of Science in Nursing from Northern Kentucky University in 2021. I am committed to providing knowledgeable, compassionate psychiatric care tailored to the unique needs of each individual.

My approach to therapy

I believe effective mental health care begins with listening and understanding each person as a whole not simply treating a diagnosis. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I work with patients and families to understand their concerns, identify meaningful goals, and develop an individualized treatment plan that may include medication management, education, behavioral strategies, and coordination with other members of the care team. My goal is to create a supportive environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating in decisions about your care.

What you can expect from me

Your first visit is an opportunity for me to understand your concerns, experiences, and goals for treatment. We will complete a comprehensive psychiatric assessment that includes your current symptoms and their history, medical and psychiatric history, medications, family history, and important social, developmental, and lifestyle factors.

From there, we will discuss my clinical impressions and review appropriate treatment options together. I value shared decision-making and will take the time to discuss potential benefits, risks, and alternatives so that we can develop a treatment plan that reflects your individual needs, preferences, and goals.
