Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Matt. If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or burnt out by daily demands, it's time to take a look at the origins and patterns of your behavior. I firmly believe you have to see the bars to get out of the cage. My practice is built on a core philosophy: helping you gain true agency through insight.

With over a decade of experience across community mental health and dual diagnosis, I help adults navigate complex life stressors, anxiety, and depression. True change doesn't happen by just checking clinical boxes; it requires a confidential, non-judgmental space where you are asked the right questions. Whether we are using a practical, goal-directed approach covered by your insurance or exploring deeper life transitions, I am here to help you map out the invisible scripts keeping you trapped so you can find a clear path forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach combines a calm, grounded presence with a highly tailored blend of evidence-based modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral structures. This integration allows us to look at both the practical and the existential.

For clients utilizing their insurance benefits, our work focuses on rapid, goal-directed symptom relief—giving you concrete strategies to manage anxiety, address burnout, and break through emotional stagnation. Beyond basic coping mechanisms, I help you slow down, cultivate sharp awareness, and align your daily actions with your core values. Together, we move past surface-level symptoms to build emotional intelligence and true autonomy, helping you reclaim control over your own life.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to be seen—not only by me, but by themselves. In our initial session, we will break down the immediate symptoms keeping you stuck on autopilot and look at your current stressors with fresh perspective. You will walk away with an initial framework for our work and a clear, non-judgmental plan to begin moving from burnout to agency.
