Great to meet you!

My practice specializes in helping individuals with OCD, social anxiety, panic attacks, generalized anxiety, and existential concerns. I am a warm and empathetic, but solution-driven therapist who loves helping clients find their way back to a values-driven life. Outside of therapy, I love spending time outside, rollerblading and skateboarding, and learning new things.

My approach to therapy

My approach is based in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which works by changing your relationship with anxiety or unwanted thoughts rather than trying to reduce or control them (which often fails, resulting in avoidance or even more rumination). We will learn how anxiety or avoidance may have impacted your life, and begin to explore ways to make space for uncontrollable inner experiences while simultaneously moving towards the life you want to live. At the same time, our sessions will be organic, creative, and collaborative, with plenty of flexibility to spend time talking about other issues and feelings that come up as you live life while in therapy. While I provide structure and tools, you will always been in charge of your treatment goals and therapy will feel like a collaboration.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will explore your current symptoms, what you are looking for in therapy, and begin to identify some actionable goals based on your values. You don't need to prepare anything for our first session, but it may be helpful to think about how you want your life to be different as a result of therapy.
