Great to meet you!

Welcome, and thank you for considering my services. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals with mental health, intellectual, and developmental challenges. Throughout my career, I have been committed to helping people navigate life’s difficulties with dignity, respect, and practical support.

My background includes extensive work in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and community-based services. I have experience working with individuals facing a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, behavioral challenges, and co-occurring conditions. I specialize in helping individuals develop coping skills, improve daily functioning, and achieve greater independence in their lives.

In addition to my clinical work, I serve as the Clinical Director of Heart & Soul LLC and Executive Director of Heart & Soul Community Development Corporation. These roles allow me to stay deeply connected to both the clinical and community aspects of care, ensuring that the services I provide are not only effective but also aligned with the resources and supports available to each individual.

My approach to therapy

My approach is person-centered, meaning I work collaboratively with each individual to understand their unique needs, strengths, and goals. I believe in creating a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where individuals feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes.

Whether you are seeking support for yourself or a loved one, my goal is to provide guidance, structure, and encouragement to help you move forward with confidence.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other in a comfortable and supportive environment. We will discuss what brought you in, your current concerns, and what you hope to achieve. I may ask questions about your background to better understand your needs and strengths. Together, we will begin identifying goals and the best path forward for your care. There is no pressure to share everything at once—I will work with you at your pace.
