Great to meet you!

My name is Matthew Dean. I am excited to tenderly explore your story with curiosity as you seek growth and healing. As a gay man, I understand that unique and often hidden experiences matter. I have experience working with people who want help with LGBTQ+ issues, trauma, depression, anxiety, and spirituality. In a therapy session there is room for everything you are feeling. Through awareness of our thoughts, feelings, and bodies, change can begin to occur. I believe the therapeutic relationship of the counselor/client is uniquely suited to facilitate that change.

I am passionate about working with adults who are seeking help and guidance in moving through whatever their struggles are. I am EMDR trained and pull from a variety of theories including parts work, Narrative Therapy, and Polyvagal Theory.

My goal is to offer tenderness, space, and care for your stories while inviting your body to freely feel what is already there. I look forward to joining you on the road to healing and growth.
