Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Matthew. I have worked as a counselor since 2005 and have held independent licensure since 2008. I work from a trauma-informed, person-centered perspective.

My specializations include working with individuals dealing with PTSD using EMDR and other evidence-based approaches, sex and intimacy issues, adolescent and teen mental and behavioral health, depression, dissociative disorders, LGBTQIA+ support, life transitions, spirituality and religious trauma, stress, and anxiety.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Sometimes life's challenges can feel overwhelming, and these struggles can affect us in so many areas, such as work, leisure, romantic relationships, connecting with friends, and even the way we feel in our bodies. When we work together, you can expect a compassionate and supportive environment where your voice is heard and valued. I believe in the power of a collaborative therapeutic relationship and am committed to helping you navigate your journey towards healing and growth.

What you can expect from our first session

I am excited to base our time together on your needs and the latest research-based techniques available to us. This means that I consider you the expert in your own life, and I strive to provide space for you to find the path that best suits your values, needs, and unique situation. If you're ready to take the first step towards a more fulfilling and balanced life, I invite you to reach out and connect with me. Let's work together to find the hope and peace you deserve.
