Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care for adolescents and adults. I earned both my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Michigan State University. My approach is patient-centered, collaborative, and individualized, with a focus on creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where patients feel heard and respected. I work closely with each individual to develop personalized treatment plans that promote emotional well-being, resilience, and long-term mental health.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, patient-centered, and individualized. I recognize that mental health looks different for everyone, so I work collaboratively with my patients to develop treatment plans that align with their needs and values. I believe in combining clinical expertise with open communication and education, empowering patients to make informed decisions about their mental health.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my priority is getting to know you—not just your symptoms, but your story, experiences, strengths, and what brings you to treatment. We will complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, discuss your current concerns, review your medical and mental health history, and explore any factors that may be affecting your emotional well-being.

I strive to create a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and sharing openly at your own pace. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer understanding of your mental health and treatment options.

Together, we will identify your goals and develop a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your needs and values. This may include medication management, education about your diagnosis, lifestyle recommendations, and coordination with therapists or other healthcare providers when appropriate. I believe that treatment works best when it is collaborative, and I encourage open communication throughout our work together so we can make informed decisions as a team.

Whether you are seeking support for anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, mood disorders, or another mental health concern, my goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care that helps you build resilience, improve your quality of life, and make meaningful progress toward your personal goals.
