Great to meet you!

Have you found yourself stuck in cycles of self-doubt, sadness, or anxiety, unable to catch your breath or feel understood in your relationships? You're not alone. I'm an empowering, solution-focused therapist who uses TEAM-CBT, a highly effective, modern form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Together, we'll uncover your inner strength and help you move forward with clarity and confidence.

I hold a graduate degree in social work from UT Austin, and have years of experience working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. My approach is warm, inquisitive, and collaborative, and I strive to help clients not only feel better, but get better.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in TEAM-CBT, which blends empathy with measurable progress. We’ll start with testing to track your growth over time, and use empathy to create a space where you feel truly heard. We’ll assess what’s keeping you stuck and why change feels hard, then apply proven methods to help you build the skills needed for lasting change.

What you can expect from our first session

In our sessions, you can expect to gain powerful tools to understand and reshape the way you think, feel, and respond to life’s challenges. My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which is based on the idea dating back to the philosopher Epictetus, that we’re not disturbed by events themselves, but by how we interpret or think about them.

Together, we’ll identify unhelpful patterns, challenge self-defeating beliefs, and build new ways of thinking that lead to meaningful, lasting emotional and behavioral change. You’ll leave sessions not just feeling better, but equipped to handle life with more clarity, confidence, and resilience.
