Great to meet you!

Matt is Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), having received his Undergraduate degree in Psychology (BA) from Stockton University and his Graduate Degree in Social Work (MSW) from Monmouth University. Matt has experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults in School and Outpatient settings, through internships and direct work experience, dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, chronic stress, family difficulties, grief/loss, and transition/adjustment.

My approach to therapy

Matt approaches Therapeutic Services from a Humanistic, Person-in-Environment lens, focusing on external and internal factors that contribute to difficulties and mental health concerns. Utilizing a Strengths-based approach, Matt helps to identify areas that can be used to support an individual's entire healing system, mentally, emotionally, physically, and socially.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a non-judgmental, relaxed atmosphere during your sessions with Matt. During your first session, Matt will provide ample time to explore your reason for seeking Therapy and any relevant history that applies to your current situation. Additionally, through the use of Psychoeducation, Matt will collaborate with you on identifying Outcomes and developing Goals for your specific course of Treatment.
