Great to meet you!

I work with individuals, couples and families with teenagers who are struggling with managing stress, depression and anxiety, sexual issues (such as porn use, kink and gender issues), parenting and couples relationship conflicts, as well as helping individuals move on from past experiences of trauma or loss. I have a doctorate in Social Psychology and a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology. I have a solid and extensive background and training in treating addictions and substance abuse.

My approach to therapy

My first and foremost focus throughout our work is on your goals for therapy and your life. For over 25 years I have been helping individuals, couples and families. I have extensive training and experience in Process Oriented Psychology (Jungian and somatic focused approach); movement, music and dance therapy; couples and family systems theory and methods; along with a broad spiritual sense in working with the challenges we are faced with.

What you can expect from me

We first help you identify what is going on, what you need and want to be happening in your life , and then we work on how to get there. Each session we make progress towards the next steps towards your goals. Your feedback in terms of how you feel, your sense of progress, and how therapy is affecting your life is our guide to success. Together we collaborate to help you make the changes that you would like to see in your life, relationships, and family.
