Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with nearly five years of experience helping adults navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, and life transitions. I earned my Master's in Social Work from Aurora University and founded Restored Minds Therapy because I believe meaningful change is possible when people have a space where they feel supported, understood, and free from judgment.

Many of the clients I work with feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Whether you're struggling with the impact of past experiences, overwhelming stress, relationship challenges, or substance use concerns, my goal is to help you gain insight, build resilience, and move toward a life that feels more connected, fulfilling, and authentic.

My approach to therapy

I take a client-centered, trauma-informed approach to therapy that recognizes the connection between past experiences, current challenges, and overall well-being. My goal is to help you better understand the patterns, beliefs, and coping strategies that may be keeping you stuck while building practical tools to support meaningful change.

I draw from Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and other evidence-based approaches to meet your individual needs. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I strive to create a supportive environment where you feel safe, understood, and empowered to move forward at a pace that feels right for you.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we'll discuss what brought you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, and what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process. I'll also take time to learn about your background, important life experiences, and the strengths you already possess that can support your growth and healing.

You don't need to have everything figured out before we meet. My goal is to create a comfortable and supportive space where you can share at your own pace while we begin identifying meaningful goals for our work together. By the end of the session, we'll have a clearer understanding of your needs and the direction you'd like to move toward.
