Great to meet you!

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner based in Santa Barbara, with 14 years of healthcare experience across psychiatry, primary care, and cardiology.

My training includes graduate education in both acute care and psychiatric mental health, which has given me a broad clinical foundation and a strong appreciation for how emotional and physical health often overlap.

I work with adults across a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, sleep difficulties, and life transitions, with particular attention to how symptoms affect daily functioning, relationships, and overall wellbeing.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that good psychiatric care works best when people feel comfortable asking questions and fully understand their options.

I place a strong emphasis on education — explaining conditions, treatment approaches, and medications in clear language so decisions can be made together using the best evidence we have available. My goal is for each patient to leave feeling more informed, reassured, and confident in the plan we’ve built together.

What you can expect from me

During a first appointment, we take time to step back and understand the full picture — what has been going on, what feels most difficult right now, and how things may have developed over time. We’ll talk through symptoms, medical history, past treatments, current stressors, and anything else that may be shaping how you’re feeling, so that treatment is grounded in context rather than just symptoms alone.

The goal will be for you to leave with greater clarity, a thoughtful starting plan, and a sense that there is room to move forward at a pace that feels manageable.
