Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed therapist who works primarily with adults dealing with anxiety, burnout, identity questions, and emotional overwhelm. I specialize in working with neurodivergent clients, including autism and ADHD, as well as people who feel like they’ve spent a long time masking or trying to fit expectations that don’t work for them. My background includes counseling work in both structured and independent settings, and I focus on helping clients build practical, usable skills.

I take a direct, down-to-earth approach—therapy with me is about understanding yourself and actually making changes, not just talking in circles.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, practical, and tailored to the individual. I use evidence-based methods like CBT and DBT, with a focus on emotional regulation, skill-building, and changing unhelpful patterns. I won’t just sit back and nod—we actively work on what’s getting in your way.

I also adapt therapy to fit you, especially if you’re neurodivergent or don’t connect with traditional approaches. When it’s helpful, I integrate identity and creative elements, including personal interests or fandom, as tools for growth.

What you can expect from me

First, I offer a 15-minute consultation so you can ask questions and we can get to know each other and see if we fit well.

From there, the first full session is focused on understanding what’s bringing you in and what you want to get out of therapy. We’ll talk through your current challenges, relevant background, and start identifying a direction for our work. You don’t need to have everything figured out—we’ll sort through it together.

You’ll also notice I’m not a “shirt and tie” therapist—my space reflects some of my own interests, and I aim to create a relaxed, nonjudgmental environment. If it fits, I’ll take a little time to learn about your interests too, since those can be useful in how we approach the work.
