Great to meet you!

As a licensed psychologist, I've dedicated the last 25+ years to studying, teaching, and offering psychotherapy to diverse communities. I offer a therapeutic space that allows you to become deeply curious about your life experiences and relationships, grow more empowered, and build a future you can look forward to.

I have specialized in working with LGBTQ individuals and couples drawing from my own life experience as a gay/queer identified cis-man and decades of training and activism.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I work from an Integrative Depth Psychological perspective. This approach makes space for exploring your inner world, that is your feelings, thoughts, dreams, and bodily experiences.

I bring a mindfulness and trauma informed orientation. And my work is LGBTQ+ affirming, appreciating the social justice, political, and ecological realities that inform well being.

I use dialogue therapy with intimate relationships to help you deepen your connection sexually emotionally, spiritually.

What you can expect from our first session

During our first session we can discuss what brings you to therapy at this time, some of the background of this issue, and more generally your near and longer term goals for our work together. We will also explore the sources of strength that support you.

This is also an opportunity for you to ask me any questions you may have about the process. And finally, we can determine the best frequency of meeting, and how best to optimize time between sessions.
