Great to meet you!

I have been working in the counseling field since 2011 when I graduated with my Master's degree in Counseling Psychology. I have received a Post-Masters certificate in Trauma Studies and underwent clinical supervision in Psychodynamic Therapy. Furthermore, I obtained a certification in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction techniques and received training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy.

My approach to therapy

Therapy should be a collaborative process. It begins when individuals feel understood and supported. I am genuine when working with patients, blending my natural curiosity with honesty, humor, and humility. Therapy can sometimes feel daunting; therefore, my person-centered approach allows me to connect with people wherever they are in their journey.

What you can expect from me

Therapy presents the opportunity for insight and new experiences which provides the spark needed for change. By creating a trauma-informed environment, I guide my patients toward that change in an empowering and supportive manner. I am as comfortable reviewing CBT coping skills, as I am working with individuals on ways to regain trust and meaning.
