Great to meet you!

With thirty five years as a clinical social worker, I bring extensive clinical expertise, compassion and understanding to my psychotherapy practice. I have worked with families, women, couples and artists navigating life transitions, emotional challenges, relationship concerns, and loss. My approach is warm, collaborative and individualized. I believe each person has inherent strengths and the capacity for growth, healing and meaningful change. Some of the modalities I utilize are strength based and behavioral approaches, mindfulness, gestalt, inner-child work, and other psychotherapeutic techniques.

My approach to therapy

For the past 20+ years , I have worked as a hospice social worker, supporting individuals facing serious illness, end-of-life decisions, death, dying and loss. This work has given me deep experience with anticipatory grief, bereavement, and the complex emotional impact of loss.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment where a person can share at their own pace. We'll talk about their current concerns, relevant history and what they feel would be most helpful moving forward.
