Great to meet you!

Navigating mental health challenges can be difficult, and I want to acknowledge the courage it takes to seek support. Taking this step is an important investment in your well-being, and I am honored to be part of your journey.

I am Dr. Maureen, DNP, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C. As a dual-certified Nurse Practitioner, I have dedicated nearly 20 years to healthcare. I have practiced as a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2016 and, over the past six years, have focused primarily on psychiatric and mental health care. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to actively participate in your care.

Together, we will develop a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your goals, values, and unique needs. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, or other mental health concerns, I am committed to providing thoughtful, high-quality care that supports your long-term emotional health and overall well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach to providing care is centered on treating each person with compassion, respect, and dignity. I take the time to listen, understand each individual's unique needs and preferences, and develop personalized care that promotes comfort, independence, and well-being. I believe in building trusting relationships through open communication, empathy, and collaboration with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centered care.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment where we take the time to get to know one another. We will discuss your goals, concerns, health history, and any specific needs or preferences you have. I will answer your questions, explain the care process. My priority is to ensure you feel heard, respected and comfortable, as we begin working together.
