Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. I identify as a Black immigrant woman from Côte d’Ivoire and as a member of the queer community, and I have navigated systems that do not always make it easy to create a positive and healthy life. That experience is behind everything I bring into the room. I provide telehealth services throughout California and specialize in working with culturally diverse adults, women, LGBTQ clients, military families, and blended families. I also have specialized training in maternal mental health, and I offer sessions in French. My goal is to create a space that is genuinely culturally sensitive, client-focused, and free of judgment, so that the people I work with can actually show up as they are.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in narrative therapy, which holds that you are the expert on your own life. I draw on solution-focused brief therapy, CBT, and mindfulness-based approaches as well, adapting based on what each person is actually dealing with. I address anxiety, depression, trauma, identity concerns, maternal mental health, family and relational dynamics, and the chronic stress that builds when you are navigating spaces that do not reflect who you are. I also incorporate art-based and strength-based tools when they are a useful fit

What you can expect from me

The first session is a conversation where I want to understand your story and what you are carrying. I work to create a space that feels safe and genuinely culturally aware from the start. We are not going to rush through a checklist. I offer a free 15-minute consultation if you want to connect before scheduling. Reach out when you are ready.
