Great to meet you!

I began my career at a State of Connecticut psychiatric hospital and then worked at a maximum security psychiatric facility until I began my 27 year career as a Social Worker for the Department of Veterans Affairs.

I have worked in every facet of psychiatric and substance abuse treatment including inpatient, outpatient, detoxification, rehab, day treatment, ER and community treatment. My areas of interest are trauma and addiction and recovery. I am also a certified Equine Therapist.

I am a firm believer in partnering with clients and engaging in person centered recovery to assist clients in obtaining and maintaining their optimal level of functioning.
