I graduated from Rutgers University in 2001 with a bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a minor in Philosophy. I later graduated from Capella University with a Master's in Mental Health Counseling. I have an Out-Patient practice in Camden, NJ, where I meet with children, adults, couples, and families for talk/psycho-therapy. I love working with families to help them realize their full potential and gain sustainable strategies and resources for their life.
I am a Person-centered therapist who, while competent in many therapeutic interventions, focuses mainly on the client/therapist relationship. I feel that people generally know what is best for them but need a healthy therapeutic relationship to realize and display their potential fully. While understanding the importance of solutions in therapy, intention and doing things on purpose is the key to minimizing discomfort in life choices.
Clients that work with me should expect professionalism, integrity, and strong boundaries. In each session, clients that have worked with me should not expect to be given the "right" answers but instead be given the tools to figure out what they want for themselves in their lives, while maintaining both legal and ethical codes.
