Great to meet you!

I have experience in working with those who experience ADHD, anxiety, depression, and trauma, using different modalities such as Relational Cultural Theory (RCT), Rational Emotive Behavioral therapy (REBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and Person Centered.

I have worked in community mental health, schools, correctional facilities, and a college health center. I have an MA from St. Edwards University and am currently studying to get a PhD at Denver University.

My approach to therapy

I believe people heal by knowing and accepting themselves. The more we know ourselves the better equipped we are to make choices and decisions that align with our needs. Often, we experience distress or pain as a result of the expectations that have been placed on us by others. Through therapy, I want to help you recognize your own power and to learn how to accept & release those things that are outside of your control and focus on what is in your ability to do so.

Today, I specialize in working with members of the LGBTQ+ community, people struggling with issues related to immigration trauma, and those who experience cultural conflict. I am passionate about men’s health and combating and healing through toxic masculinity within our communities. Together, we’re able to work toward a place of acceptance and confidence that allows them to thrive in every area of your life.

What you can expect from me

It is my goal that everyone who walks into my office feels understood and validated. While my interventions are designed to help you develop emotional resilience, improve relationships, and achieve personal goals. Outside of my professional practice, I enjoy spending time with my family and dog, doing some hiking, lifting weights, boxing, and playing board and video games.
