Great to meet you!

It takes real courage to take this first step toward prioritizing your mental health, and I want to honor that. Beginning therapy can feel vulnerable, unfamiliar, or even intimidating, and I understand that. Maybe you’ve spent a long time in survival mode, developing ways of coping that helped you get through hard experiences but may no longer serve you. That can show up as disconnecting from yourself or others, struggling with boundaries, or carrying a story about yourself shaped by cultural or relational expectations. Wherever you are, we can start exactly where you are.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and rooted in self exploration. I believe the ways we cope and see ourselves developed for a reason, so together we’ll explore where your stressors come from and how they still affect you. This isn’t about changing who you are, it’s about understanding yourself and recognizing what no longer serves you.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a conversation, not an interrogation or a checklist. We’ll cover some background, but I’ll mostly invite you to share what’s been on your mind and what brought you in. Building trust matters, so we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. If you’re ready for change, let’s take that first step together.
