Great to meet you!

I spent eight years in psychiatric nursing before becoming a psychiatric nurse practitioner, most recently at a rural federally qualified health center. I started my own practice to slow down and spend real time with each person I treat, instead of back to back visits. I specialize in ADHD, bipolar disorder, and the overlap between ADHD, bipolar, and PTSD. I also live with bipolar disorder and ADHD myself, which gives me a grounded, practical understanding of what ups and downs feel like day to day. Good care means taking a holistic look at each person as an individual, including sleep, relationships, and daily life, and I'm glad to work alongside your therapist when you have one.

My approach to therapy

I like to understand the whole picture, not just symptoms. We'll look at medication together with sleep, routine, and daily life, and I welcome working alongside a therapist if you have one. I'm direct about what I'm seeing and why, and I want you to feel like an active partner in your own care.

What you can expect from me

We'll start with a full picture of your history, symptoms, and goals, including any past diagnoses or medications. I'll walk you through my thinking as we go and we'll build a plan together. There's no pressure to have it all figured out, just come ready to talk.
