Great to meet you!

As a compassionate and dedicated therapist who graduated from LIU Post with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health counseling, I am committed to creating a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. Fluent in English and Spanish, I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring everyone feels seen, heard and understood.

I am also a former athlete with firsthand experience in the world of sports, I know the mental and emotional challenges that come with performance pressure, teamwork, and navigating personal setbacks. I specialize in children, teens, and adults and helping individuals navigate challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties.

I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, and I work alongside my clients to empower them in making meaningful changes in their lives. No matter where you are in your journey, I am here to help you unlock your full potential and thrive--both mind and spirit!

My approach to therapy

I bring a unique blend of empathy, humor, and a personal understanding of the power of resilience. Known for my quick wit and approachable style, I believe the power of humor as a tool for healing--creating a comfortable environment where you can address serious issues without taking yourself too seriously. By combining evidence-based techniques such as CBT, with a relaxed down to earth demeanor, I help gain clarity, confidence, and the mental tools needed to overcome life's obstacles.

As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, I know firsthand the challenges that come with seeking acceptance in a world that can sometimes be unkind and unwelcoming. Having navigated my own journey of self-acceptance, I bring a non-judgemental approach to therapy, where you can be your authentic self, without fear or rejection.

What you can expect from me

With my ability to balance seriousness with humor, clients will walk away feeling comfortable addressing deep issues while also having the freedom to laugh and find lightness along the way.
