Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m May, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and I’m here to help you feel like yourself again. I work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and feeling overwhelmed. I provide medication management along with tools to support better mood, sleep, focus, and daily functioning. I take time to listen and understand your experience so we can create a plan that fits your needs. With a background in both mental health and special education, I bring patience, empathy, and a commitment to meeting you where you are. If you’re ready for support, I’d be honored to work with you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is simple. I listen first. I want to understand your story, not just your symptoms. From there, we work together to create a plan that feels realistic and supportive for you. I use a combination of medication, education, and practical tools to help you feel better and function more like yourself again. I believe care should feel collaborative, not rushed or one-sided.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is really about getting to know you. We’ll take time to understand your concerns, symptoms, and goals. I’ll ask questions about your mental health history, current challenges, and daily functioning so we can get a full picture. Together, we’ll begin creating a personalized treatment plan, which may include medication, practical strategies, and next steps. My goal is to make you feel comfortable, heard, and supported from the start.
