Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Maya.

Have you been experiencing anxiety or depression that is negatively impacting your life?

I am an LCSW with a specialization in dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma and religious/cult abuse. Getting involved with a therapist can feel uncomfortable at first. I am here to listen and let you decide which direction you want to take on your journey to healing. I will walk with you as you take steps toward a happier, less stressful life. I look forward to working with you!

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use a mix of psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness techniques during my sessions with you. If there are other tools that will be helpful to our sessions, we can use those too.

What you can expect from our first session

I have years of experience in dealing with anxiety and depression. I know that these are tough issues but I also know that, with time and work, life can improve. I like to leave clients with new ideas or new skills to try in-between sessions because making real changes in life is what will help you to feel better.
