Great to meet you!

I'm glad you're here!

As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, I believe that prioritizing our well-being is incredibly important, although sometimes not easy to do! I have been licensed for eight years and work with teenagers and adults, with a focus on life stressors, anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship issues. I am LGBTQIA+ allied and believe in social justice.

My approach to therapy

I believe that the therapeutic relationship is INCREDIBLY important in feeling safe enough to work through life challenges. My style is conversational, warm, non-judgmental, and I often utilize humor when appropriate. I pull from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help challenge negative thinking, but I do not incorporate it in a strict, by-the-book, way. I approach therapy in a flexible manner, since each person is unique!

What you can expect from me

My goal for the first session of therapy is to get an overview of life circumstances that are currently impacting you. I will begin to gather details of your history, and we will work together to identify future goals for therapy. I am not here to tell you what you need to work on, you are the expert in your own experience. I am here to support you on your own goals, and always happy to pivot if new issues arise.
