Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Maya, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with extensive experience working with adults and children from diverse backgrounds. Throughout my career, I’ve supported individuals navigating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and trauma—often during times when they felt overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward.

I’m especially passionate about working with women and individuals facing grief, maternal mental health challenges, infertility, relationship stress, and major life transitions. My work is rooted in helping people reconnect with their sense of autonomy, voice, and inner strength. I believe meaningful change begins when you feel truly heard and supported.

My approach to therapy

My approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and deeply client-centered. I believe therapy works best when it is tailored to your unique experiences, goals, and pace. I draw from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), trauma-focused approaches, and Motivational Interviewing.

Together, we work to increase self-awareness, develop effective coping strategies, and shift patterns that no longer serve you. I place strong emphasis on empowerment, helping you build confidence, emotional regulation skills, and tools you can carry into everyday life.

What you can expect from me

In therapy, you can expect a safe, compassionate space where you are met with respect and understanding. Our work is collaborative and strengths-based, focused on helping you feel more grounded, capable, and in control of your life.

Clients often experience improved stress management, clearer emotional insight, stronger relationships, and a renewed sense of empowerment. Whether you’re healing from trauma, navigating women’s health concerns, or managing ongoing mental health challenges, my goal is to help you feel supported while building lasting skills for long-term well-being.
