Great to meet you!

With over nine years of experience, I have developed a deep passion for supporting maternal mental health. As a mother myself, I understand the emotional, physical, and mental toll that pregnancy, postpartum, and the early years of motherhood can bring. Many women experience feelings of anxiety, depression, and overwhelm during these transitions, often feeling isolated or unsure about asking for help. By offering a supportive, understanding environment, I aim to help mothers thrive during this critical stage and equip them with the tools to manage anxiety and embrace new opportunities with a positive mindset.

My approach to therapy

My approach centers on creating a safe, compassionate space where mothers can express themselves openly, without judgment. I specialize in helping women navigate the challenges of motherhood, from adjusting to the realities of pregnancy to coping with the demands of raising young children. Together, we explore strategies to reduce anxiety, build confidence, and establish a healthy balance in the midst of life’s transitions. I also have a deep commitment to working with teenagers, particularly those facing the anxiety and uncertainty that often come with the transition from high school to adulthood. Adolescence is a time of immense change—academically, socially, and emotionally—which can create significant stress and self-doubt. Many teens struggle with anxiety around their future, identity, and relationships. Through CBT and other therapeutic approaches, I help teens build emotional resilience, navigate life transitions with confidence, and develop healthy coping mechanisms for managing stress and anxiety.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to get to know you and create a safe space where you feel comfortable sharing what’s on your mind. We’ll discuss what brought you here, your goals for therapy, and any concerns you may have. It’s okay if you’re not sure where to start — this is all about you feeling heard and understood. I’ll walk you through what therapy looks like, and we’ll work together to create a plan that fits your needs. I’m here to support you every step of the way, and I look forward to starting this journey with you! Bienvenido/a!
