Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Mayra a licensed professional counselor. I Speak two languages (English& Spanish). I have a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and a Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology from the University of Texas at Tyler. I value a therapeutic experience that respects your values and culture. I believe counseling can help to unlock individuals full potential. I consider safety, acceptance, and compassion important within a therapeutic relationship.

My approach to therapy

My aim is to navigate the psychological barriers that create disconnection and establish new patterns to regain peace and connection. I believe we must learn to overcome the challenges that are thrown at each of us while examining and understanding our own patterns and defenses. I will help you face current life stressors or confront past trauma so that you may begin living more fully in the present. I use a combination of modalities and techniques based on the clients individual needs. some
