Mayren Fraguela-Lam

Hi, I’m Mayren Fraguela-Lam, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Addiction Professional. I earned my degree in Social Work from Florida International University (FIU) and have had the privilege of working with individuals across the lifespan, including seniors, children with severe behavioral challenges, individuals facing trauma, and those struggling with serious mental health or substance use issues. My approach is compassionate, goal-oriented, and focused on creating lasting, positive change.

My approach to therapy is supportive, structured, and collaborative. I focus on helping clients build insight, develop new coping skills, and achieve lasting change. I use evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care. I also specialize in behavior modification for children on the autism spectrum and work closely with parents to support progress at home. Therapy with me is a safe space to grow, heal, and move forward.

Clients can expect a safe, non-judgmental space where they feel heard, supported, and challenged to grow. My goal is to help each person gain practical tools to manage stress, improve relationships, and feel more in control of their emotions and behavior. Whether we’re working through trauma, managing anxiety, or building behavioral strategies for children, I focus on real-world results and long-term progress. Every session is a step toward greater confidence, clarity, and emotional balance.
