Great to meet you!

I am a dual board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to adolescents and adults. My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported without judgment.

I have experience treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma-related disorders, OCD, insomnia, and substance use disorders. I believe that every person is unique, so I take the time to understand your experiences, strengths, and goals before developing a personalized treatment plan.

Whether you're seeking help for the first time or have tried treatment before, I strive to make the process collaborative, transparent, and empowering. Together, we'll work toward improving your symptoms while also helping you build a more fulfilling and balanced life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, patient-centered, and rooted in evidence-based medicine. I believe that the best outcomes happen when treatment decisions are made together. I take the time to listen carefully, answer questions, and ensure you understand your diagnosis and treatment options so you can feel confident in your care.

Treatment may include medication management, supportive therapy, lifestyle recommendations, and practical coping strategies tailored to your individual needs. My goal is not simply to prescribe medication but to help you understand how your mental health affects your daily life and develop a plan that supports long-term wellness.

I value open communication and believe that successful treatment often involves ongoing adjustments based on your progress, preferences, and goals. Every visit is an opportunity to evaluate what's working, address concerns, and continue moving toward meaningful improvement.

What you can expect from me

Your first appointment is focused on getting to know you—not just your symptoms, but your story. We'll discuss your current concerns, medical and psychiatric history, previous treatments, lifestyle factors, and what you hope to achieve through treatment. You'll have plenty of time to ask questions, share your experiences, and discuss any concerns you have about medications or therapy.

By the end of the session, you'll leave with a clear understanding of my clinical impressions, treatment recommendations, and a personalized plan that aligns with your goals. Whether that includes medication, therapy recommendations, lifestyle changes, or a combination of approaches, we'll make those decisions together.

My priority is to create a welcoming, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable being yourself. Seeking help can be difficult, and I want every patient to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the path forward.
