Great to meet you!

Sometimes it feels like your mind never gets a chance to rest. Anxiety can leave you constantly overthinking, ADHD may make everyday responsibilities feel overwhelming, and depression can make even the smallest tasks feel exhausting. Perhaps you are struggling to feel like yourself, navigating relationship challenges, or noticing that painful experiences from the past continue to affect how you respond to the world around you. I work with adolescents, adults, and seniors experiencing anxiety, ADHD, depression, trauma, and PTSD. These concerns can also overlap with relationship issues and women's issues, especially when emotional struggles, personal expectations, and everyday responsibilities begin affecting one another. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I believe therapy should be a place where you feel genuinely heard, accepted, and supported without judgment. Together, we can explore what has been weighing on you, recognize the strengths you already carry, and develop healthier ways of coping that help you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to yourself.

My approach to therapy

Our work will make room for both the person you are and the relationships, responsibilities, emotions, and experiences that have shaped you. We'll explore how anxiety, ADHD, depression, trauma, and PTSD may be affecting your emotional wellbeing, sense of self, and ability to navigate everyday life. I may use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you recognize patterns in thoughts and behaviors that contribute to distress and develop healthier ways of responding, while Solution Focused Brief Therapy can help us identify your existing strengths, recognize what is already working, and turn the changes you want into practical, achievable steps. I may also draw from Strength Based Therapy to help you recognize the resilience and abilities you already possess, especially during times when difficult emotions or past experiences make it harder to see those qualities in yourself. Our sessions will be collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in your individual needs, balancing meaningful self-exploration with practical strategies that support lasting change.

What you can expect from me

You do not need to arrive knowing exactly what needs to change or have the right words for everything you have been experiencing. During our first few sessions, we will take time to understand what brought you here, what has been most difficult, and what you hope will feel different. Together, we will create goals that feel meaningful and realistic while deciding where it makes the most sense to begin. You can expect me to bring warmth, understanding, and thoughtful encouragement to our conversations while creating a space where you can talk openly about difficult emotions, relationships, personal challenges, or painful experiences without judgment. Progress may look like feeling less consumed by anxiety, developing strategies that make ADHD easier to navigate, reconnecting with yourself when depression feels heavy, feeling more confident expressing your needs, or developing a greater sense of safety and stability after difficult experiences. We will continue checking in on your goals and adjusting our work based on what feels most helpful, helping you move forward feeling more grounded, supported, and confident in yourself.
