Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Denver, and I’m passionate about supporting clients through life’s transitions and challenges. I bring specialized training in sleep issues, chronic pain and medical conditions, trauma, and animal-assisted therapy, which allows me to provide tailored support for a wide range of needs.

I specialize in supporting individuals experiencing depression and anxiety, particularly related to life changes, religious trauma, LGBTQIA+ experiences, chronic medical conditions, medical trauma, sleep difficulties, and overall support with stressors in daily life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is centered on helping individuals improve their overall quality of life by developing effective coping strategies, aligning their values with their actions, and addressing unhelpful thought patterns. I take a collaborative and supportive approach, tailoring our work to each client’s unique experiences and goals.

My work is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

My style is compassionate and client-centered, creating a safe space for exploration, growth, and healing. Together, we focus on practical tools and deeper self-understanding to help you navigate challenges, build resilience, and live a life aligned with what is most important to you.

What you can expect from me

In your first session with me, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where your experiences are heard and understood. We’ll begin by getting to know each other, discussing your current challenges, and exploring your goals for therapy. My focus is on creating a safe space where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace.

Together, we’ll start to identify patterns, thoughts, or behaviors that may be contributing to stress, anxiety, or other difficulties, and we’ll explore practical strategies and approaches that align with your values and needs. While every client’s journey is unique, the first session is typically about building rapport, clarifying your goals, and beginning to outline a collaborative plan for growth, healing, and positive change.
