Great to meet you!

Feel like life is taking you down one wave at a time, leading to self-esteem issues? Are small day-to-day disturbances leading to large reactions? I can you help navigate life’s waves and learn to deal with them more effectively.

Whether you’re looking to simply expand your coping skills, struggling with anxiety, depression, and grief, or are looking for more specialized trauma work using EMDR, I'd love to be a part of your journey!

You can visit my website at coastalcounselingtb.com to learn more about my practice. I take Aetna & UHC plans.

My approach to therapy

I am honored to hold space for my clients as they walk me through their darkest times. I believe a safe, non-judgmental environment where you can feel seen and heard is the epitome of a successful therapeutic relationship that promotes healing, self-worth, and positivity.

Trauma comes in all shapes, sizes, degrees and forms. I am a trauma-informed, attachment-based therapist trained in EMDR (since 2016) which is used to pinpoint aversive memories, thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations to help decrease disturbance levels around trauma.

Everyone has varying definitions of resiliency, but once experiences or memories start feeling overwhelming or debilitating, that's when reaching out to someone can be incredibly helpful.

To accommodate busy schedules, I offer in-person and virtual services. Please note I only offer EMDR in-person at my Wesley Chapel office.

You are not alone in your feelings or experiences!

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a calm, non-judgmental environment while we discuss your background information as well as present triggers and struggles. I love setting therapeutic goals with my clients during our first session; those goals are really special to review during the end of our time together to see all of the growth and progress.
