Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is McKenzie Thomas and I am a licensed therapist with over six years of experience specializing in the treatment of anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders. I work with adults and adolescents, particularly those who are navigating the challenges of life transitions, identity, and mental health struggles. As a mixed-race therapist, I bring an understanding of cultural sensitivity and an appreciation for the unique experiences of individuals from diverse backgrounds.

My approach to therapy

I use a collaborative, person-centered approach in my work, which means I see you as the expert of your own life. My ultimate hope is to help you navigate confusion or overwhelming emotions and provide support as we work together to find increased mental clarity and direction. My approach integrates a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

What you can expect from me

I offer telehealth therapy for Ohio residents, which provides flexibility and accessibility. Whether you're seeking to reduce anxiety, better manage depression, or navigate a period of change, I am here to support you in building a path forward.

If you’re ready to take the next step in your journey toward your goals, please reach out to schedule a session or ask any questions you may have.
