Meagan Baxter

Hello, I'm Meagan. I received my MSW from the University of Southern California. I have certifications as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I am also certified in trauma therapy. My extensive background includes roles as a medical social worker, psychiatric social worker, and case manager for local social service agencies, where I honed my skills as a strong advocate for my clients. I've worked in various settings, including inpatient psychiatric facilities, inpatient substance abuse facilities, school districts, and home health, gaining a wealth of experience along the way.

As a therapist, I provide a safe, non-judgmental, and interactive environment in which individuals can tackle difficult subjects, deep-seated trauma, or just provide a listening ear when individuals need to get their thoughts and feelings out. I believe healing is a collaborative effort that requires honest caring without judgment.

I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. I specialize in anxiety, mood disorders, substance use, trauma, couples, and abuse, and grief and loss. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, solution-focused therapy, trauma-focused therapy, client-centered, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing. My niche is with trauma and couples.
