Great to meet you!

I graduated from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi with a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology in 2005. I became a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), because I enjoy working with people to achieve what they want in life. I obtained my doctorate in Counseling Psychology to continue improving. Throughout my career working in private practice and government agencies, I have been given the opportunity to learn about people's differences and work with them to gain self-assurance.

My approach to therapy

I focus on helping individuals develop skills to address, work through, and overcome life difficulties in an understanding environment with a direct and solution-focused approach. I utilize a combination of therapy approaches to include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, and Rational Emotive Therapy to best address the individual needs of my clients and develop a trusting relationship whether work is centered on anxiety, boundary issues, or even trauma.

What you can expect from me
